I've been workin' on growth formulas to speed along plant growth, but for a stronger one I need somethin' that cant be available here. That means I've an adventure to undertake, an' I need three companions to come with me. [Forgive him, he prefers making his delivery of the facts concise-- perhaps too concise, sometimes.] I'm off to the wilds of Adh Rikair down south to get to the plants there, an' the librarians tell me it weren't easy. On foot it takes too long, but there's a way to quickly travel. The darker your Jewel, the faster an' safer the psychic highways will be, I'm told.

But the wilds are full of dangerous people, hence they insisted I have companions to help out-- aside from you helpin' me transport back the plants I need to work with. The Winds are darker'n Red, an' I should be safe as a Sapphire. I don' know what these Winds are truly, or how they operate, but if you're close to my colour or darker, an' you've no issue with combat if it becomes necessary, mayhap you could come with.

[A pause before he starts up again. He almost forgot.]

An' whoever else who don't come can still help out-- I've some plants already dosed with weaker formulas. They need tendin' an' close examinations while I'm away.

Are you fine with sleepin' in the wilds for a few days?

[That's true, but not something Mordred typically thinks about, finding it easier and less headache inducing to think of it as this color beats this color.]

I'd prefer a bed, yeah. But I'd be a pretty crappy knight if I couldn't make camp for a while.

[She says this like Rhus is just supposed to know that. But Mordred's...Mordredness aside, she'll be fine. So long as she doesn't have to sleep in a crypt again or anything like that. Then there'll be no end to her complaining.]

I can tend to the plants while you and the others are away! I'm an Opal so I'm not gonna be a lot of help, but I have a lot of farming and gardening experience!

I don' think it'd be that difficult. My plants are just in pots, an' only need waterin'.

I can totally do that! I'll do the best note taking ever while you and the others are out.

How long do you guys expect to be gone on your mission? Do you need help in getting supplies and stuff?

My companions so far are experienced adventurers as well. We can handle out own supplies.

Make sure you bring back super cool stories of daring fights and rescues, okay? I've got to hear what you guys are up to if I can't join. [ and now daylight can't help but go >:T at his own jewel. ]

Or mayhap it'll be just dull, livin' off the land, and uprootin' plants for five turns o' the sun or so. Fetchin' an' carryin' is usually that.

Actually- [ now that he thinks about it. ] -I hope that's what happens for you guys now.

I mean- We've had so many things going down since we came here that it would be nice to have something dull but safe happen.

I'd call it... Dull but important. People need food after all. [And starvation is not fun to watch. Or experience.]
